K was kneeling on the lush green grass amongst the rose's pleading to Athena to show mercy, I stepped between K and Athena and then everything became silent. I took Athena's hand and led her a few metres away and talked to her, I told her she could do anything she wished but that punishing K for having love for me was wrong, Athena looked into my eyes and then looked towards K.
I appealed to her and reminded her of her unyielding wisdom, a few moments later Athena had calmed herself and K stood up and looked at us. Athena began to speak, she told K to stay away from me, K lowered her head and a single tear dripped from her eye and landed upon a rose, Athena had not finished yet, "if you come near my beloved again I shall unleash my wrath upon you" said Athena.
Athena always kept her word, I knew that because I knew her better than anyone, Athena would do anything for me and I would do anything for her.
October 31st, 17:00 pm..
Three months had passed since I last saw K, I live with Athena now but sometimes I return to my old home, as always a storm has arrived today as it does every year. It's already dark outside and the rain was hammering against the roof as the thunder rumbled and the lightning flashed amongst the dark clouds, as I sat in the library I heard a knock at the door and went to answer it.
I opened the door and then I saw a woman standing there, her clothes and her hair were soaking wet, I didn't recognise her until she looked up at me and moved her hair from her face...it was K. "I didn't know where else to go..can I come inside.." she said, I thought to myself if I let her inside and Athena finds out she well be get angry and unleash her wrath upon K.
But I couldn't just leave her out there in the storm, I may be an assassin but I'm not a monster, I decided to let K inside and we sat by the fireplace so she could dry off and get warm. I became a little on edge knowing that Athena could appear at any moment but I was confident that I could reassure her if I needed to, moments later K told me everything that had happened to her since we were last together.
I was shocked to hear her story, for someone to treat her like that enraged me, he made her do things but fortunately nothing sexual which was a relief. However I felt like he should be punished for what he made her do, K made me swear not to do anything but to just leave the matter alone, the thought of a man treating a woman like that made me feel so angry but I decided to do as she asked.
We became silent as the fire burned hot and the storm hammered the town, we gazed into each others eyes and became entranced. After a few minutes of tension K moved closer and closer towards me, I felt her warm breath against my skin and her hand upon my thigh, she knew what would happen if Athena found out what was going on but she seemed to feel no fear just hunger and a burning desire within.
Just as she was about to kiss me Athena appeared, she became enraged and drew her shining sword and pointed it at her, "I warned you and you did not listen, now you shall suffer the consequences" Athena said, I pleaded Athena to stop and listen to me, I told her what had happened and she seemed to calm down, I told Athena that K needed help and didn't know where else to go.
Athena looked down upon her and looked at K like she was beneath her as the god's always do, I told K that she could stay in my former home and that I'd help her get back onto her feet. Athena did not like that but as always she trusted me, Athena vanished back to her home and I showed K to her room and reassured her that things would be ok.
