Machine with Memories

I used to think a camera was just a machine that captures photographs.

Then I started carrying one.

And somehow… the world started looking different.

A shadow on a wall wasn't just a shadow anymore.

It was a photograph.

Rain wasn't just rain.

It was reflections on the road.

An old man's hands weren't just hands.
They were years of stories.

A crowded street wasn't just crowded.
It was hundreds of lives happening in one frame.

A stranger's smile lasted only a second.
But through a camera, that second could stay forever.

And that's what I love about photography.

It makes you slow down.

You start noticing things you would've walked past yesterday.

The sunlight entering a window.

Someone waiting alone at a bus stop.

Two people laughing in the distance.

A bicycle leaning against an old wall.

The sky changing colours while everyone else is looking at their phones.

Photography taught me something:

Beauty isn't always something you find.
Sometimes, it's something you finally learn to notice.

The camera doesn't make the world beautiful.
The camera makes you realize it was beautiful all along.

... Say cheese ...

Nice ✨

What our eyes capture, we can never fully show another person as we experienced it.

A camera comes closer—it turns a moment that existed only through our eyes into something another can see too.

Perhaps that’s the quiet magic of photography:

it gives our perspective a way to be witnessed.

This post made me realize why I love photography too. I don’t own a camera,my phone is enough when a moment catches my eye. A pretty plate of food, a quiet sky, the moon, a little aesthetic detail that everyone else might overlook I just click it. Somehow, it eases my mind. Maybe that’s the beauty you spoke about… photography doesn’t create the moment, it makes us pause long enough to notice it. ✨

Yes... We cannot go back to the time it happened but we can capture it and have it as a lifetime memory...that's a pure bliss ✨

You are absolutely right...it's not about the specifications of device we hold...it's all about time we capture and how we see through it... Clicking more is equivalent to making more memories ✨

This is so profound. A camera doesn't just capture images, it teaches you how to truly see the world. ✨"
