The Art of Saying "I'm Okay"

Once upon a time, there was a person who laughed at almost everything. Always joking, always smiling, and always telling people, "I'm fine"

People thought this person was strong. Nothing seemed to bother them. Even when life became difficult, the smile never disappeared.

One day, someone asked, "How do you manage to stay so strong all the time?"

The person smiled and replied, "Maybe I'm not strong. Maybe I've just become good at pretending that everything is okay."

And that made me wonder…

Sometimes, do we really become emotionally stronger as we grow older, or do we simply become better at hiding what we feel?

Here's something I would think about..

Is emotional strength about never showing pain, or having the courage to admit when something hurts?

What do you think? Are we becoming stronger, or just better at pretending?

Just a piece of my mind ✨

Sometimes, maturity doesn't make us stronger; it just makes us better at hiding the cracks behind a smile. ❤️

We become stronger through damage we see along the way.....Every damage leaves a mark on us making us more enduring

Eventually we learn to smile through things that once broke us and say, “I’m okay,” even when we’re not.

Although that's a kind of strength gained from our depreciation......
