Why Black Holes Are Black....

@RIZWAN

Mr Gupthan...,
Let's have some intellectual convo.. Baaa

My limit to reply back is over.. And I can't wait 10 hours for it to get reset..

So here we are.. :emo:

Black holes are black because their gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape once it crosses a boundary called the event horizon.

We see things because light from them reaches our eyes. But when light enters a black hole and cannot escape, it cannot reach us. That's why we cannot see the inside of a black hole.

However, the space around a black hole can be very bright. Gas and dust swirling around it become extremely hot and produce light. The black hole itself remains dark, surrounded by this glowing material.

Now your turn...

If water has no colour, why does the ocean look blue? :think1:
In a glass, water has zero attitude, but gather a billion liters together and suddenly its built-in Pro-Max blue filter switches on!

I wonder who all didn't check ai for these answers tho.

I'm currently in a scientific background and I had to refresh some of my knowledge to get here lol. :Cwl:

Felt good though people talking about refraction, reflection, scattering and all.

This post did come in the wrong room though. It should have been posted in the science section
