Attention at any cost

Hazell

Pretty. Petty. Peaceful.

Some people have a strange way of seeking attention, especially when it comes from someone they know they shouldn't be getting attached to. Suddenly, they're clingy, overly expressive, and always have something that needs to be heard. They'll find reasons to start conversations, create situations to gain sympathy, and do things you'd never expect just to keep someone's attention on them. There's a difference between genuinely needing someone and constantly trying to find a place in someone's life. And honestly, when even something as serious as family becomes part of a story just to gain sympathy, it stops being about attention and starts becoming a question of character. Not every person who acts close has genuine intentions, and not every sad story deserves to be taken at face value.

Genuine connections never need forced attention or sympathy; they grow naturally through honesty, respect, and sincerity. Sometimes, actions reveal what words try to hide.... :)

Exactly.. genuine connections should never have to be forced. Actions always speak louder than words.
