Part 6 : A Little Too Irresistible

Their words grew more personal, their replies more suggestive, and the conversation took on an intimacy neither had explicitly planned. It was still playful, still wrapped in their familiar banter, but something about it felt different now.

Vedha found herself responding to the moment rather than thinking her way through it.

Sarang's words had a way of catching her off guard, leaving her smiling at the screen and taking a little longer than usual to compose her replies.

Sarang: "You have no idea how distracting you can be, do you?"

Vedha: "I think I have a little idea."

Sarang: "A little?"

Vedha: "Don't let it go to your head, Sarang."

Sarang: "A little too late for that."

She smiled, shaking her head at his audacity.

There was something about the way he played along with her teasing that made the conversation feel effortless.

She didn't have to pretend to be someone else or search for the perfect response. She could simply be Vedha; playful, confident, and just mischievous enough to keep him guessing.

But Sarang was learning how to play the game, too.

Every time she thought she had the upper hand, he came back with a reply that made her pause, smile, or rethink what she had been about to say.

Sarang: "Tell me something, Vedha. Are you always this difficult to read, or do you save that privilege just for me?"

Vedha: "Maybe you're just not as good at reading me as you think."

Sarang: "Then I suppose I'll have to keep trying."

Vedha: "Who said I'm going to make it easy for you?"

Sarang: "You haven't exactly made it easy to stop trying, either."

For a moment, Vedha simply stared at the screen.

It was still flirting. She could easily dismiss it as another clever exchange between two people who enjoyed testing each other's wit. Yet something in his words lingered a little longer than the others.

She covered it with a playful reply, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of knowing how much she had enjoyed it.

The conversation continued, drifting between laughter, teasing, and moments that felt almost too personal for two people who had never met beyond a chatroom.

Their words grew bolder, their pauses more meaningful, and their familiarity gave them a kind of ease neither had to explain.

Time slipped by unnoticed.

Vedha had entered the conversation expecting nothing more than their usual banter.

Instead, she found herself completely absorbed in it, curious about what Sarang would say next and reluctant to be the one who ended the exchange.

And Sarang seemed equally unwilling to let the moment fade.

He kept finding new ways to hold her attention, turning ordinary questions into playful challenges and simple replies into opportunities to tease her.

He wasn't asking for promises or trying to define what existed between them. He was simply there, matching her energy, keeping her engaged, and allowing the conversation to unfold at its own pace.

Perhaps that was what made it so compelling.

Vedha had always been certain she could keep things uncomplicated. She could enjoy a conversation without attaching expectations to it, flirt without making promises, and leave a chatroom without carrying anyone with her.

Yet that night, she wasn't in any hurry to leave.

She caught herself smiling at another message, her fingers already moving to type a reply before she had even finished reading it twice.

And somewhere beneath all the teasing, a question quietly surfaced.

Was this still just entertainment, as she had convinced herself it was?

Or was Sarang becoming an exception in ways she hadn't planned for?

She dismissed the thought almost as quickly as it appeared. There was no need to make sense of everything tonight. Whatever this was, it could remain undefined for a little longer.

So she replied to his next message, and the conversation carried on.

Sarang was getting dangerously good at keeping her attention. And Vedha was beginning to wonder if she was enjoying the game a little more than she should.

The night ended, but the last word hadn't been spoken. Not even close.

Because sometimes, the sweetest trouble begins with a message you weren't quite ready for… and a reply you simply can't resist sending.

You haven't exactly made it easy to stop trying either Man Sarang really threw a straight punch right through her guard with that one That moment where your fingers are typing a reply before your brain can even talk you out of it that’s not just banter anymore Vedha That’s pure surrender to the gravity Mr. Lion is thoroughly entertained watching that stubborn independence melt into something so electric What does sweet trouble look like in Part 7? Don't make us wait! ✨❤️‍

If Vedha has everything Aarzoo has then I’m expecting everything Because the woman behind the words isn't just an ordinary storyteller she’s the fire and the sanctuary all at once Stop making excuses for her pride and let me read the next chapter Mr. Lion is right here waiting. ✨

Pressure? From a Lion who's just enjoying the view? Nah shake that off Miss Trouble If Part 7 is half as sharp as the mind writing it it’s already gold You couldn't write a dull sentence if you tried Take your time lace up your gloves and drop it whenever you're ready I'm not going anywhere.

:inlove: you're the best... Oopsss.. Second best
Ouch straight to the ribs But that’s fine being second best just means I have an excuse to keep you on your toes until I claim number one Don't get too comfortable with that smirk Aarzoo the comeback is going to be legendary.

Aww, sweetheart, I'll be waiting for that legendary comeback. ❤️ But be warned, stealing first place won't be easy when you've already stolen a little soft spot in my heart.
Stealing the top spot is easy when I already own the softest real estate there is Calling me sweetheart and admitting to a soft spot in the same breath? You’re making it far too dangerous for yourself Aarzoo Keep that silver medal warm for whoever has it now, because Mr. Lion doesn't do second place for long. ✨❤️

:giggle: first place is conquered by me Mr Lion.. U have absolutely no place over there..
Oh you hold the throne? Good That means I don’t even have to fight for it I’ll just take the place right beside the queen Self-love at number one suits you anyway Miss Trouble But don’t act like ruling your own heart makes you immune to the guy who knows exactly how to make it skip a beat Second place next to you is still closer than anyone else gets. ✨

That's fair enough.. You can be there.. Just besides me.. and do those magic your words have already done
Right beside you is my favorite vantage point anyway If a few words could work that kind of magic from behind a screen just imagine what happens when I’m actually right there next to you matching your pace and whispering those comebacks You hold down the throne Aarzoo Mr. Lion will handle the sparks. ✨❤️
