Fifteen years ago, when Angel was just one and a half months old, she came home and quietly became one of the most beautiful parts of my life.
What began with a tiny Labrador puppy grew into fifteen years of unconditional love, countless memories, silent understanding, and a bond that words can never fully express. She was never just a pet. She was family, a companion, and a little soul who made our lives richer simply by being in them.
Today, I am preparing to say goodbye to my Angel forever.
Despite consulting the veterinarian and trying to find a way forward, there is no hope of relieving her suffering. She is in deep pain, and the hardest decision I have ever had to make is to let her go peacefully rather than ask her to endure any more.
My heart wants to hold on to her forever. I wish I could turn back time, bring home that tiny puppy once again, and somehow make everything all right. But love sometimes asks us to put the comfort of someone we love above our own need to keep them close.
For fifteen years, Angel has given me her whole heart without asking for anything in return. Now, it is my turn to let her go with love, dignity, and peace.
I know that saying goodbye will leave an emptiness that nothing can fill. I will miss her presence, her companionship, and all those little things that made her my Angel. I will miss her in ways I cannot yet imagine.
But I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed, that I got to be her human, and that she gave me fifteen wonderful years of her life.
Angel, my little girl, you came into my home when you were barely six weeks old. Today, I have to let you go, but I will never stop loving you. Thank you for fifteen years of pure, unconditional love. You can finally rest now, free from pain.
Run free, my Angel. Wait for me at the other end of that rainbow bridge.
You were my family, my companion, and my heart. You will be missed every day, remembered in every little thing, and loved for the rest of my life.
Last 3 days my dearest one, I will be only with you at home. And then it will be Goodbye, my Angel. Until we meet again.
