"Slash!!" Doctor Tremas slit Jacob's throat, blood sprayed and splattered across the floor as Doctor Tremas watched the body fall. "Oh well, I no longer had need of you Mr Frye, I can continue my experiment alone" said Doctor Tremas as he went back to the operating table to continue his experiment, Doctor Tremas injected the woman with a glowing green liquid and then watched and waited to see what would happen.

The next morning, 7:14 am...

"Good morning Lord Rosewood" said Serena, "ah good morning Miss Thorn, I mean Serena" said Lord Henry, "can I talk to you for a moment sir?" Asked serena. "Yes of course Serena" said Lord Henry, "I have been thinking about recent events, the headless horseman, your wife Lady Rosewood" said Serena, "hmm ok please go on" said Lord Henry, "I found it strange that Doctor Tremas appeared so quickly that night when your wife saw the headless horseman" said Serena.

"What are you suggesting?" Said Lord Henry, "I also overheard Doctor Tremas and James talking, then James is suddenly found dead in the library" said Serena. "Are you suggesting that Doctor Tremas is behind these death's?" Asked Lord Henry, "yes sir I am, I even saw him around the stables acting strangely one night after he had supposedly left here" said Serena.

"Hmm, yes he did seem to arrive quite quickly that night my wife saw the headless horseman, he also left quickly as well" said Lord Henry. "And then there was the time where he said that he was going to bring Jacob here with him but they arrived separately" said Serena, "hmm yes.." said Lord Henry, "Doctor Tremas also arrived suspiciously quickly then as well, Jacob did not arrive until minutes later" said Serena.

"You are right, but why would he kill my dear wife Verity, James and Emily Wayne?" Asked Lord Henry, "I do not know sir" said Serena. "I must assume that they all knew something or discovered something" said Lord Henry, "I agree Lord Rosewood, but what could it be?" Said Serena, "one more thing, were you in my bedroom again?" Asked Lord Henry, "well I was cleaning in there again yesterday sir" said Serena, "Hmm I must have been dreaming again..." Said Lord Henry.

Later that day, 20:09 pm...

Lord Henry was sitting in the game's room with some playing cards, as he shuffled the cards about the candles in the room began to flicker. "Now what..." Thought Lord Henry as he looked around, then suddenly he saw Serena enter the room, "ah Serena, I have been thinking, when I was in the village pub Doctor Tremas was picking something up and he groaned in pain" said Lord Henry.

"Tell me more sir" said Serena, "he said he had injured his shoulder while he was working late that night when Emily had died" said Lord Henry. "Hmm I see.." said Serena as she poured some whiskey into a glass for Lord Henry, "where did you shoot at when you fired at the headless horseman?" Asked Lord Henry, Serena handed Lord Henry the glass of whiskey and then thought for a moment.

"Hmm I shot the headless horseman in the shoulder" said Serena, "which shoulder?" Asked Lord Henry, "the right shoulder" said Serena. "Doctor Tremas's right shoulder was the one he had injured" said Lord Henry, "then that means Doctor Tremas must have been the headless horseman all along!" Said Serena, "yes!, but the question is why" said Lord Henry before taking another sip of his whiskey.

"Hmm those notes I discovered said something about experiment's, your wife Lady Verity must have discovered that someone was doing something they should not be doing" said Serena. "Doctor Tremas!, he must be the one doing the experiment's, but what kind of experiment's?" Said Lord Henry, "hmm I do not know but we do know that he killed Lady Verity, James and Emily" said Serena.

"No, I think Emily's death was an accident, I did not say this before but I saw a hook laying on the floor in the barn, it was used to keep the axe hanging on the wall, it must have fallen out before he could kill her" said Lord Henry. "Yes I believe you are right sir" said Serena as Lord Henry took another sip of his whiskey, "I must finish my duties Lord Rosewood" said Serena, "of course, I shall see you later" said Lord Henry.

A few minutes later Lord Henry closed his eyes and relaxed, a short time later he had fallen asleep in his chair as the weather outside began to take a turn. Rain fell hard and fast and lightning flashed amongst the dark clouds while thunder rumbled, Lord Henry began to dream about the lake, he dreamed about finding his wife Lady Verity dead and floating upon the waters surface.

Then after a few minutes the dream began to change, in the dream he found himself still standing beside the lake watching Serena moving through the water naked. He heard Serena's voice in his ear as he stared at her, she said "come join me...I know you want to...", he continued to watch Serena as she slowly turned around to look at him, she lifted her hand from out of the water and called to him.

"Come...come to me..." She said, moments later Lord Henry walked into the lake and moved through the water towards her. Then suddenly they kissed each other slowly and deeply in the clear shimmering water, moments later Lord Henry found himself laying on top of Serena amongst the grass at the edge of the lake, they kissed once again as their bodies became entwined.

Then..."BOOM!!" Lord Henry was awoken by the sound of the thunder as the storm began to rage, "it was just a dream.." said Lord Henry. Over the next three days Lord Henry continued to have the same dream, then on the fourth he was sleeping in the parlour, it was almost nine thirty at night and Lord Henry was deep within the same dream once more entwined with Serena.

Meanwhile outside a layer of thick fog had filled the night as the moonlight lit up the darkness, Lord Henry continued to dream as the autumn coloured leaves moved in the gentle breeze. Then suddenly Lord Henry had awoken to find the parlour doors wide open and the fog seeping into the room, "hmm I do not remember the leaving the doors open.." thought Lord Henry as he stood up and walked towards them.

The mystery is getting interesting! Serena seems to be connecting the dots, and I’m curious to see how Doctor Tremas fits into all this....
