Saying no... is it easy ??

TheWanderer

We have made “no” so easy these days.

Someone says no, and we assume they didn't care.
Someone walks away, and we assume they were unaffected.
Someone lets go, and we make their silence proof that it meant nothing.

But what if it wasn't that simple?

Sometimes a person says no to something they once cherished. Sometimes they walk away knowing that, in doing so, they are hurting someone who genuinely cared for them. And if they are a person with a conscience, they don't walk away without carrying some of that weight.

There can be guilt in saying no.
There can be sadness in letting go.
There can be affection that doesn't disappear just because a decision has been made.

Not every goodbye is easy. Not every rejection is rejection without feeling.

Sometimes saying “I can't” is one of the hardest things a person can say to someone they know they are going to hurt.

We should stop measuring someone's feelings by whether they stayed.

Sometimes people leave with a heavy heart, not an empty one. And a thought..

May be in another life time .. we would meet...

PS: not for zozo chatrooms.. where id changes the person chanes

Leaving a close bond is extremely painful for both. Some show it, some stay silent. Pain is always real... for both.
