The Rhyme I Found in You
If I am a poet,
You are my poem.
Not written with pen but felt
in every heartbeat.
Other poets write about the
moon and roses but,
I write about your laugh, I
write on you, for you, the way
your eyes soften when you
care, the way my world goes
quiet when you speak.
I don't need any topic to
write because you are my
favourite topic. You are the
rhyme I was searching for, in
every unfinished word.
My friends ask me how do I
write so much better and
beautiful..?! I just smile
because how do I explain that
the story started when you
walked in. I don't write about
skies or seas anymore
because you are my weather
and my tide.
