It is a beautiful thing to love, but never let your entire existence depend on someone else. Do not give away so much of yourself that you become completely empty when they are not around. When you make another person your entire universe, you forget to keep a safe space for your own soul. Love deeply and share your light, but never give away your entire sky. Always hold onto your own identity and keep a piece of your heart just for you.
The painful truth is that human feelings can change, and initial excitement often fades. Many times, the intense attention we receive from someone at the beginning is simply driven by their curiosity. When they first meet you, they are fascinated by your mystery and make you feel incredibly special. But once that curiosity ends and they feel they know everything about you, their warmth might slowly turn into distance.
If you have poured your complete self into them, you will be left entirely shattered when they pull away. You and your beautiful world will suddenly feel orphaned, lonely, and completely lost in the dark. That is why you must always be your own safe home. Build a world within yourself that is so strong, so that even if someone's fascination fades, you will never feel abandoned again.

This feels very real to me.

Sometimes we don't realize how much of ourselves we've given to someone until their presence starts changing. When the same warmth, attention, and affection slowly become distant, it can leave you wondering where you went wrong and feeling lost in a world that once felt complete.

But maybe the lesson isn't to love less or care less. It's to love someone deeply while still keeping a part of yourself untouched. People can change, feelings can change, and relationships can change—but we shouldn't lose ourselves every time someone changes.

Love deeply, but don't make someone your entire sky. Keep enough of your own light to find your way home, even when theirs becomes distant.
