If I made my way to the moon,
Would you come, just for a while?
I’ve missed your gentle hugs,
I’ve longed to see your smile.

I can't come to where you are,
There are no visiting hours,
And though I'd travel the distance,
I have no hidden powers.

If I reached that silver sphere,
Would your spirit join the flight?
In the silence of the cosmos,
We could share our thoughts at night.

The stars would be our blanket,
The universe our dance,
And with every whispered secret,
We’d seize just one more chance ..

Sometimes the distance may be beyond our reach, but the people we miss are never far from our thoughts. And perhaps, in the quiet moments, our hearts find their own way to meet. ​
