Memory: For someone to stay as a memory, they must have affected your heart so intensely in the days gone by.
Forgetting: If those memories were purposely buried away, it means they left behind a pain so terrible that you don't even want to look back at it.
Ache: Even then, if that pain still manages to stare back at you... it just means that person has failed, endlessly looking for answers between their own right and wrong choices.

And that's why ur mind goes crazy when those "maybe" keep giving u flashbacks. You're tired, you've tried to move on, you've buried the memories, yet they still find a way back. Not bcz u can't let go, but bcz some wounds leave behind questions that never got answered.

Nice image, depicts very well what is written.
Memory will be there but its never about the other person but shared experiences.
Forgetting won't happen. We will always remember yet knowing past cannot be changed makes it bearable.
Ache now is a choice. Do I let the past restrict or define me or not.
I choose to heal.
