Elena and Elios continued to stand still in silence as the wolves moved closer and closer towards them, then suddenly a burst of red light flashed in between them and the wolves. A man with blonde hair and blue eyes had appeared and scared off the wolves, "thank you" said Elena, "yes thank you but who are you?" Said Elios, the man held a bow in his left hand and looked at them.
"I am Eros, son of Aphrodite" said the man, "a god!" Said Elios with a look of surprise on his face, "what are you doing here?" Asked Elena. "My mother sent me to do something and I saw you needed assistance" said Eros, "thank you but I am sure we can reach Thessaloniki safely" said Elios, "you refuse the help of a god!?" Said Eros as he looked at Elios and raised an eyebrow.
Elios became silent as Elena stood beside him, a moment later Eros laughed and said "come let me get you take you to Thessaloniki" said Eros. "Thank you" said Elena, a few moments later Eros used his divine powers and transported Elena, Elios and himself to Thessaloniki, within seconds they had arrived at the center of the city and stood beside a statue of Aphrodite.
"Here we are, you are safe now!" Said Eros and then smiled at them, "thank you" said Elios, "I must be going now, I need to do what mother asked me" said Eros. Elena and Elios said goodbye to him and then a few moments later Eros vanished in a flash of red light, "well then, let us find a place to rest for the night" said Elios, a moment later Elena and Elios walked through the streets of Thessaloniki until they found a place to stay.
They walked inside an inn and paid the man at the desk for two rooms that they could stay in, the man showed them to their rooms and then went back to his desk. "This bed in my room is very comfortable!" Said Elena as Elios looked around his room, "I like this room" said Elios, over the next few hours Elena and Elios had eaten their last meal of the day and get themselves ready for bed.
"Ok time for some sleep" said Elios, "we can explore the city in the morning" said Elena, "I shall look forward to it" said Elios. A few moments later they said goodnight to each other and lay on their beds and closed their eyes, an owl outside began to hoot and the wind started to grow stronger as they slowly drifted off to sleep.
