1) When I was 14 I was home alone, my old man was at work, my sisters were staying elsewhere. In the early hours of the morning I woke because I heard running water, I walked into the bathroom, the shower was running, the bath taps and sink taps were running so I turned them off. I went to walk down the stairs and walked through like a white mist, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. I walked into the kitchen grabbed a pint glass, I filled it full with water and drank half of it, putting the half full glass in the middle of the draining board. I started to walk back up stairs, I got half way and heard a smash come from the kitchen, I run back down the stairs into the kitchen and see the pint glass smashed on the floor with no water anywhere.

2) The second time happened a few years ago. I had a black cat called Vivi, he unfortunately got very ill and I had to get him put down. He was Rikku my orange cats first companion, anywhere one night Rikku went to the front door and was shouting/miaowing really loudly while wagging her tail, I picked her up and took her into the bedroom, and was like 'come on now be quiet it's bed time' I put her on the bed but she jumped off and ran back to the front door, miaowing really loudly. I opened the front door to show her no one was there, and a black shadow the size of a cat walked in, Rikku got really excited, the black cat shadow walked down the hallway into the living room but disappeared leaving Rikku looking very very confused.

Ok here is my short perspective, yin and yang.... Good and bad . Both should exist for balance. That's the way world works. North pole and South pole ; spice and sweet; thin and fat ; Balck and white ; pure and corrupted ...etc this is all I thought of now, you are welcome to add on to this list. If God is there evil should also be there. Only when we have darkness we will ever know the beauty of light.

I think that's what bhagavad geeta also says. Asuras were always granted boons so vishnu can take avatars to deal with them. Natarajar didn't destroy the tiny creature under his feet to show that ignorance shouldn't be destroyed but it will always be under control. So ghosts would have been roaming in this world either as foul spirits or as monsters . Have I ever come across one , yes a few but they were in human forms tall 6 feet you know ?

Just keep doing your rituals , go to Temples because studies show that people who live longer are the ones who are spiritual its quoted in norman vincent peales power of positive thinking book. It helps us to avoid negativity in the form of evil spirts including severe downfalls in life.
