Being straightforward and transparent is a good quality, and it can save a lot of energy since you never have to maintain a false persona.

But there are times when we have to change it. sometimes, it's okay to soften your words not to hide the truth, but to protect someone's feelings or simply make their day a lil better.

Also for our own sanity: honesty doesn't mean exposing everything to everyone. Wisdom lies in knowing what to share, with whom, and when. ✌
