Would you rather always have wet socks, or always feel like you are about to sneeze but never actually do?

I’d choose wet socks. At least by wearing waterproof socks or Crocs, I could mitigate that sensation a bit. But that un-sneezed sneeze? That is sheer soul-torture! That sense of incompleteness would drive a person mad.
