Soft Corners

Even though they have stabbed me from behind, I still choose to give them a soft corner in my heart. They continue to have an impact on my heart, no matter what happens.

There are always people who tend to utilize your energy and weaknesses. They know we are hurt and even choose to hurt us more. I deal with them either with my ignorance or my silence, because I believe silence is the best remedy and reply. I know how to hurt them the way they did to me, but I choose not to because I have a soft corner for them. Still, from a single message from them, I can understand what they are going through. Sometimes I even forget what they did to me. That is just how I was made.
