Epic Legend
(Story may trigger) ( This Story Is a Sequel to Eternal Embrace and is Set 25 Years Later)
It is a cold day on October 24th in the year 1874 and the sun was high in the clear blue sky shining above a town called River Hollow , the tree leaves began to change colour from green to the autumn colours red , yellow and orange. River Hollow is a small town just a train ride away from Blackthorn Valley , a beautiful woman called Rose walked through the market , her long blonde hair moved in the gentle breeze and her grey eyes glimmered like crystals beneath the sunlight.
Rose walked around the town for a while as the wind grew colder and bitter and the sun had set , a few moments later she walked into a dark alley and saw a man standing there amongst the shadows. "Well who do we have here then" said the man as he looked towards Rose , the man walked towards her and grabbed her arm , "ow! you are hurting me , let go" said Rose , the man shook his head and said "tsk tsk , you're not going anywhere pretty lady".
Rose struggled to get out of the man's grip as he held her tighter , "get off me , help!!" Shouted Rose as the man ripped her dress , "nobody is coming to help you haha" laughed the man. A few moments later a dark figure stood in the shadows behind the man , the dark figure tapped his fingers on the man's shoulders , the man turned around then..."WHACK!!"...the dark figure punched the man in the jaw and knocked him down onto the ground.
"That will teach you to lay your hands on a woman" said the dark figure as he emerged from the shadows , "if I ever see you in this town again I shall finish what I started" he said. A few moments later the man got up off the floor and ran away , "are you ok miss... sorry I did not catch your name" said the man that saved her , "my name is Rose , who are you?" She said , "my name is Gabriel , nice to meet you" he said , "thank you for saving me" said Rose.
Gabriel smiled at her and escorted Rose safely towards her home , several minutes later they had arrived at her home and stood outside , "would you like to come inside for some tea and cake" asked Rose , "thank you I would like that , I have missed breakfast today" said Gabriel , a few minutes later Rose and Gabriel sat in her kitchen by the window , Rose poured some tea into the cups and sliced the cake , "help yourself Gabriel" said Rose as she smiled and then slipped her tea.
"Mm this cake is delicious Rose" said Gabriel , "thank you I baked it myself this morning" said Rose as she grabbed a slice , half an hour minutes later Gabriel had finished his tea and cake and saw the time. "Oh no , I have missed the train" said Gabriel. "I can offer you the spare bedroom for the night" said Rose , Gabriel thanked her and then she showed him to the room , "make yourself at home" said Rose , "thank you I shall" said Gabriel.
A few moments later Gabriel and Rose got undressed and climbed into their beds and closed their eyes then drifted off to sleep , a few hours or so later Rose awoke to hear a noise in the hall. "What was that noise" she thought as she climbed out of bed and headed towards her bedroom door and slowly opened it , Rose peeked out from behind the door and said "who is there"...
