The Atlantean
Epic Legend
The Enchantress stood beneath the cherry blossom tree
She looked and saw pink leaves as far as her eyes could see
A little squirrel climbed down from it's tree and stood there
The Enchantress smiled and ran her fingers through her hair
The squirrel climbed onto her and sat upon her shoulder
Suddenly a cat appeared and sat there upon a boulder
Her eyes shimmered bright beneath the shining sun
A pair of badgers appeared in front of her playing and having fun
The Enchantress sat down on the red grass as the wind blew
Suddenly a man appeared and said "I like squirrels too"
He sat beside her side and patted the squirrel gently on it's head
The Enchantress and the man felt the warmth of the sun on their face
She said "this is such a beautiful and peaceful place"
The man placed his strong hand on her cheek
Suddenly they heard something behind them squeak
A little mouse appeared in went into the man's sack
The man said "hey get out of there" as he patted his back
The Enchantress said "little mouse come out please"
The little mouse came out and ran away , the man said "hey that's my cheese!"
The Enchantress calmed the man down and held him tight
She said to him "we can get more , it will be alright"
They layed down on the grass and stared at the sky
They held each others hands and watched the birds fly
The Enchantress and the man stayed together all day
They would begin a journey together having fun along the way
