What would you choose??
In every situation, our first choice is to try repair.. When we fix our heart that we want only that whether it is a thing or a person replacement is no longer an option. At that point, repair becomes a choice of commitment, not convenience.

For things, replacement makes sense when repair costs more than the item’s value, compromises safety, or only offers a temporary fix. Replacing a worn-out wire, a cracked appliance, or a damaged tool is practical when repair risks more loss or danger.

For humans, repair should always come first because people are not machines or objects that lose worth when damaged. Emotional wounds, misunderstandings, and conflicts need time, empathy, and honest communication. Healing, growth, and learning often come from repairing what feels broken, not escaping it for convenience.

However, replacement or stepping away becomes a choice only when repair repeatedly fails despite genuine honesty, consistent effort, and mutual respect. When trust is continuously broken, when there is no willingness to change, or when safety and dignity are compromised, choosing distance is not abandonment it is self-respect.
