She played outside for a while, then came in,feeling hungry..Her stomach was growling. She walked to the kitchen, hoping to find something to eat..There,on the table was a pot...She lifted the lid and saw two pieces of mutton inside...Her eyes lit up...It had been so long since she last ate mutton maybe a years (cuz she is in broading school, came home in holidays)... She picked up one piece and took a bite!!
It was soft...Spicy...Delicious...!
She smiled to herself. "Umm So tasty" she whispered...For a moment, she felt happy...But that night, everything changed...
Her cousin started shouting.."Why is there only one piece of mutton left?" Her aunt came into the room, angry.
"I left two pieces here. Who took one?"
The little girl's heart started beating fast. She was scared...She wanted to say sorry, but she couldn't speak...
Her aunt looked at her.."Did you take it?"The girl shook her head quickly..."No"! But her aunt noticed a small drop of mutton curry on her dress...She walked closer, grabbed the girl by her hair ,and shouted,"You liar!" And beat her...Tears ran down her face...She said sorry again and again, but no one listened...Her uncle stood there, silent...Her cousin watched. No one stopped her aunt..

She was just a little girl lived in..Her mother passed away and about her father she don't know anything..and she lived with her grandparents...But that day they were not at home..There was no one to protect her...That night, she sat in her room, crying quietly..She held her mother's photo close and whispered,
"Mama,I didnt mean to lie...I was just hungry"..No one heard her...Only the photo stayed with her!!
----Many years passed---
She grew up..Things bcm memory but She never ate mutton again...
Whenever she smelled it cooking, her chest hurt...The memory came back..Her aunt's voice, the shouting, the shame, the pain!! and noone was the to console her!!But now she learned to wipe her own tears...She didnt need anyone's hug anymore...But sometimes, late at night, when the world was silent, she still thought of that little girl--scared,crying, holding a photo!!

Beating a person just to taught something that can be taught by words also is the worst thing someone can do .

Exactly… there was nothing to even teach...She was just a hungry child who took a piece of food. A little love or a few words could've been enough. Beating her only broke something inside her that never really healed..

The terrible consequences of a small mistake, leaving its mark on every layer of life. Such images of silent suffering and loneliness weigh heavily on the mind.

Its eye opening story for those who are blessed and brought up in shelter of their mom-dad. My sympathy with you dear. Your , that little girls feelings are enough to get tears to anyone's eyes including myself ,who read it. I know that day only , you , that little school girl returned from boarding school, became matured. Sometimes I never understand why God is so bias. Love you bachcha. I know you are very strong. I can feel your pain behind your each n every smile , each n every jokes you do.

This broke my heart… No child should ever feel scared or unloved in their own home.

The way She held onto her mother’s photo… it’s a reminder of how strong some hearts have to become, even when the world around them fails.

Sending love to that little girl who’s still living in her memories… She deserves peace, comfort, and happiness. ❤️
