The headless horseman roamed the cold dark night
As a man walked around the village under the moonlight
The man slowly turned around and got a fright
The headless horseman stood there under the light
He started to run away as fast as he could go
But he didn't get far through the thick cold snow
While everyone slept peacefully in their nice warm bed
The headless horseman drew his sword and cut off the man's head
He took the man's head back to his lair in the wood
His sword soaked in the dead man's blood
The next night villagers walked around through the snow
The headless horseman appeared as the moon did glow
The villagers saw him and screamed then ran through the street
The headless horseman ran fast he was quick on his feet
The headless horseman cornered a man in a dark alleyway
The man screamed and begged for him to go away
The headless horseman showed no mercy and removed the man's head
His latest victim lay in the dark in a pool of blood...dead
The town was cursed to suffer from the headless horseman's revenge forevermore
Until one day a hero would come to the village and said "this will happen no more"
The hero and the headless horseman battled in the ice cold snow
She unleashed her magic at the headless horseman and said "back to hell you go"
Finally the horseman had been vanquished and the village was free
The hero smiled and said "please there's no need to thank me"
