Happy 79th Independence Day
Today, our tricolour rises high in the sky, telling the world the story of our courage, sacrifices, and dreams.
It reminds us of those brave souls who gave their lives so we could live free.
This year’s theme is “Naya Bharat” – a new India. It is a promise to make our country strong, developed, and full of opportunities by 2047, when we will complete 100 years of independence.
From the Red Fort in Delhi, the Prime Minister hoisted the flag, and voices of unity and pride filled the air. Across the nation, from small villages to big cities, every heart beat in the same rhythm – Jai Hind.
Let us remember:
Our freedom was earned with blood and sacrifice.
Our unity is our strength.
Our actions today will shape our tomorrow.
We breathe free today because someone, somewhere, once chose to stop breathing… for us.
On this day, let’s take a small step for our country – be kind, be honest, help others, and protect the values our heroes fought for.
May our India always stay strong, peaceful, and united.

Our flag is not just cloth and dye,
It’s the sky where their dreams still fly.
Saffron burns with the courage they showed,
White speaks of peace their hearts bestowed.
Green grows from the hope they kept,
Even when their eyes had never slept.
The Ashoka wheel spins round and round,
Like the struggle that knew no bound.
Bhagat Singh’s fire, Gandhi’s will,
Subhash’s call that echoes still.
Countless heroes, known and unknown,
Gave their lives so this flag could be flown.
When the wind makes it dance and wave,
It salutes the fearless and the brave.
Let’s stand together, hand in hand,
And guard this gift, our motherland.
