I totally get that true love can be forgotten over time. It’s not about replacing the past, but rather accepting that life moves on, and we do too. True love may leave memories behind, but the heart still has room for new beginnings. I don’t believe anyone can love just once—life’s too big for that. If we truly can’t forget, then how could we ever make space for someone else? As for someone returning, if I’ve already moved on, then why would I go back to something I’ve already let go of? Acceptance doesn’t mean holding onto the past—it’s about living in the present.
