But then it might be the only way. Distract yourself until one day you find yourself not thinking about ‘that’ .
 
Tell me this ...i feel that it's easy to confuse healing with distraction.

Are you truly addressing your emotional wounds, or are you simply numbing the pain?

True healing is when we realise that the pain, suffering, memories, all will stay with us no matter what we do!!

The hold it has on us diminishes and we will make peace with it and move along with it and live our lives

True healing requires facing the pain, not just finding ways to escape it. Distractions might offer temporary relief, but the wounds remain until they’re truly addressed.:cool:
