I think the argument about "the oldest game" comes down to the fact that Chausar/Chopat has more legends and texts, while Senet has archaeological finds with datings. So without references to specific excavations and sources, any "exact answer" will be shaky. I've already seen people demanding proofs like that somewhere else, when they were discussing "what's the most reliable" on https://iplbettingapps.net/trusted/ and there too it quickly turned out that criteria and evidence matter more than a loud name. So if the author writes "yes", at least let them add the dates and where they come from.
