Dear Admins

I accidentally posted a picture from my private inbox to the public wall, and it included a kid’s animated photo..not the real one . I realized it immediately and deleted it within seconds, but it was still reported as a rule violation. As a result, I got banned and my badge was removed.

What’s surprising is that I’ve reported multiple users and even shared screenshots of users and moderators behaving inappropriately, yet I haven’t seen any action taken in those cases. It honestly feels like the rules are being applied in a biased way, and I’m quite disappointed by it.

I understand that admins often say, “If you don’t like it, you’re free to leave,” but I tend to speak up when I see something wrong. Rules are meant to protect users, and staff should ensure that protection is fair for everyone. Unfortunately, I haven’t experienced that.

I’ve spent a good amount of time here, and it’s disappointing to feel unheard despite raising genuine concerns. Even a simple acknowledgment or transparency about actions taken would make a difference.

I am not here to appeal or request the return of my badge. I’m simply expressing my concerns and sharing my experience in the hope that it leads to fairer and more consistent handling going forward.

What’s done is done. All I request is that you take a closer and more consistent look at what’s actually happening at the ground level. Please ensure that the same standards apply to everyone, without favoritism or selective enforcement.

You want your account back or you want to remove the badge of certain moderators?

There are thousands of users visiting every single room on the indian side, do you expect everyone to act like how do you want people to behave? Or do you adapt to the situation?

We admins do take action on moderators only if there is a serious violation; we have removed plenty of mods and admins badges in the past. Have you ever wondered why there is not so many moderators or admins? Because not everyone is going to survive and have a skill to keep the room safe place for all.

Stopping a spammer/abuser is an impossible job, but we keep making sure that we take necessary steps to keep spammers and abusers away from the chat. We are moving forward to register only chat soon, in the near future, there won't be any option for guest users to send message, they can only absorb and read public chat and stay like dead ghosts.

People often report others not because of real issues, but out of personal dislike.

Sometimes, reports are even used as a tool for revenge, with false accusations instead of genuine concerns.

This message is not about Sira’s badge or her kick. This is about the overall situation in the Telugu room, which many of us are facing every single day.
First, when a report is made against a badge holder or a registered user, how is a decision taken based on a single report? Why is there no proper verification or attempt to understand what actually happened before taking action?
In Telugu rooms, admins and moderators are not always available. In many cases, admins from other rooms take action. If they do not understand Telugu, how can they fully understand the context of the conversation? Because of this, even false reports or reports made out of personal dislike are resulting in users getting kicked or banned.
Many users are misusing the report system. Instead of reporting genuine issues, they report others due to personal problems or revenge. This has already affected several Telugu room users, who were banned or kicked without clear reasons. When they questioned it, some even lost their badges.
Badge holders are given roles only after proper checking, based on trust and responsibility. If that is the case, why are they being directly banned or kicked without checking their past behavior or record?
For example, in Sira’s case, yes, she made a mistake by posting an image without checking. But before taking such a serious action, why wasn’t her past record reviewed? Whether she had any previous issues or not?
This brings us to an important question:
Is immediate banning and badge removal a rule, even without proper investigation and understanding of the full situation?
Every day in the Telugu room, there are fights and abusive conversations. I have personally reported many times, and now I feel exhausted. I am not the only one — many users have stopped reporting and are simply blocking or ignoring.
But even after blocking and ignoring, the wall is still filled with negativity daily. How many people can we keep reporting? People come here for peace, but the Telugu room currently does not offer that environment.
When we try to explain this situation, instead of being understood, we are receiving warnings. This is discouraging for users who are genuinely trying to maintain peace.
The reason I am raising this now is — despite so many ongoing fights and abuse, proper attention is not being given. But when a single mistake happens, immediate action is taken. This creates a feeling that actions are selective.
When 10 people are involved in a fight and only one person is banned, the remaining people continue the same behavior. This does not solve the actual problem.

When multiple reports are coming at the same time, is it not possible for someone to briefly check the situation before taking action?

We understand that it may not be possible to handle every single case due to time constraints. But when such issues are happening every day, can some time be allocated to ensure peace for all users?

Abuse and fights are happening right in front of us. For many days, the same people keep arguing and abusing each other openly, and it continues without any proper action.

But when we made a single post, we were immediately banned or kicked. That is what feels very unfair and hurtful to us.

At any time of the day — even late at night — there is always some kind of argument happening in the Telugu room. That is the current situation we are facing.
We are not against admins or actions. We are only requesting fair handling, proper verification, and equal attention to all issues.
We sincerely request you to look into this matter and help improve the environment in the Telugu room.

I find this is a general feedback and I can mark my opinion.

People often report others not because of real issues, but out of personal dislike.
This is a serious concern in every room. People use this as a tool to show their dislike towards others.

However many of the cases admins/ mod also use this as a tool for their personal benefit too. Without even violating the rules, actions has been taken against Registered user with whom they have issues. Their actions should also be monitored properly.

The irony is that no one wants to check the behind story. Even after providing valid proofs of innocence, no further actions has been taken. When it comes to the wrongful actions of Moderator/ Admins - there exist a dilemma.

I have been personally affected by this situation not only once but thrice. No actions was taken. Even with a clean past record, my case was like a line drawn on water.

Accountability should go both ways. If we’re looking for genuine fairness, then admins and moderators should also be open to questions when things go wrong. It’s hard to trust a system where the 'judges' aren't held to the same standards as everyone else."

In my opinion as a general feedback post.

Couldn't disagree and certainly 100% right.

Also, in the past I experienced getting bullied way back 2018 by an admin and a VIP, so I stopped coming here. I sent my photo to a guy in the room and trusted him but he shared it to some girls in the room including that admin or mod that time and they made fun of my photo and bullied me. I understand that it's my responsibility to be careful and learned from that. I tried to report her but nothing happened.

On the other page, happy now with the admins, very accommodating and friendly especially Admin/Zeus itself and Aphrodite :heart1:

I m not asking for both—neither for my badge to be restored nor for any action against the moderators

I want to make it clear that I don’t hold any personal grudges against anyone.

All we ask for is fairness—rules that apply equally to everyone

As many have rightly pointed out, what truly matters is consistent and unbiased application of rules at the ground level

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I genuinely appreciate it, as I was worried my thread might go unnoticed like everytime

What most of you are not understanding is that its a CHAT site!! How in the world does some online chat site effect your personal life? Why bother arguing with a moron on the other side of a computer monitor or phone? I just can't see how online life and reality seem to intertwine with some of you. If you're having a problem, turn your phone off, turn your computer off, BOOM, problem solved. Change names, BOOM, problem solved. Some of you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Mods/Admin can't see EVERYTHING, alot of times they're going on "he said/she said" and they're not cops, they're not going into full investigative mode to solve who said what, they take it at times, at face value and just get rid of the offending party.

Also, those badges? They mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, you earn them, so that you can get more toys to play with in chat. You mess up, you lose the badge, you didn't pay for it they were GIVEN to you, therefore, they can be taken at anytime. You have absolutely NO RIGHT to those badges.

Got it, thank you—makes sense now. A subtle reminder of my zero rights and those ever-temporary privileges

I’ll be sure to keep that in mind going forward!!

I hope my reply shouldnot be interepreted wrongly.

I come here and have my stuffs, enjoy and logg off. The enjoyment I had was within the rules and regulations of chatrooms. But my query is simple is there any a requirement to OBEY whatever admin/MOD ask you to do?

After my ID was unbanned, I have been warned by the Admin for raising complaint in the forum complaint section. He tagged me publically and abused me for raising complaint. And he told nothing will happen to his admin post with full confidence. The irony is that the one who should take actions against the caused is only making the nuisance. I been a man with common sense and standard never replied for things he mentioned.

Currently my ID is banned. Reason for ban has never been justified by the Admin / MOD. Once I asked to give any proof for abuse I caused, no proofs has every been submitted. In other words "It’s basically a case of "I have a Ban button and I’m not afraid to use it". Even if I log in as a guest today, he’ll label me an 'abuser' and ban me instantly. It’s funny that he’s the one acting like a bully, but I’m the one getting the tag. Truly top-tier moderation
:Cwl:

As you have mentioned this is a mole hill issue. However it is always better to clean up the mole hill unless it becomes a huge mountain.

I'm going to add this, because some people seem to be mistaken on how the internet actually works.
  • Private Property Rights: Owners of chat sites or moderators of chat rooms (even those open to the public) have the right to set "house rules" and ban users who break them.
  • Terms of Service (ToS): Using a chat site means agreeing to a legal contract (ToS), which grants them the right to ban you, even without warning.
  • No Right of Entry: Just like a private club, if you are not wanted, you can be asked to leave.
Essentially, you have the right to participate only as long as the site owner allows it. And thats the jist of a chat site. So good luck with your "I have rights," "I'm gonna sue," "I'm gonna report you to the police because you wont let me use YOUR chat site."

Since Zozo is a free platform to users, you don't have any rights, this would be different if we charged you for registration and badges, and we didn't refund your money after banning you but that is NOT the case here.

I'm not being mean nor arguing, I'm pointing out the reality of the situation and the facts.

Emotional maturity is leaving the chaos of the virtual world exactly where it belongs- on the screen; and never letting it bleed into the sanctuary of your personal life. :)

Are you sure?? That it is true you do remove those who violate rules can you call out any name whom you removed in past
You want me to list of the mods and admins we have kicked out from our staff list? for past 10+ years? How long you are using zozo? and do you hold any badge in zozo after all? Wondering, if you are more concerned about how staff works in here, why dont you be a moderator after getting interviewed by us, dont you hold any abuse record? dont u have any blackmail record? dont u hold any spam record, let us know.

So good luck with your "I have rights," "I'm gonna sue," "I'm gonna report you to the police because you wont let me use YOUR chat site.
If this message is directed at me, then no—I’m not here to argue about legal rights or escalate things. As you said, it’s your platform and you’re the owner. I’m simply requesting that you take a look at my issue. If that’s not possible, I understand and respect your position. I’m just a normal user.!!
