Epic Legend
The day after Zeus and his allies had celebrated their victory a letter had mysteriously appeared on the table at Mount Olympus , Zeus picked up the letter and read it as his allies stood in front of him. "What does it say" asked Apollo , "it says Aphrodite wants to come back to Olympus and wants forgiveness" said Zeus , "hmm it could be a trap" said Athena , Zeus stood there in silence for a moment , "she wants to meet in the forest" said Zeus , "hmm take someone with you in case it's a trap" said Odysseus.
Zeus nodded in agreement as he decided who to take with him to the forest , "Apollo and Artemis I want you to come with me , but stay out of sight" said Zeus. Moments later Zeus , Apollo and Artemis transported themselves to the dark forest , Apollo and Artemis hid themselves behind the bushes in the shadows as Zeus walked a towards the large stone in front of him , the dark forest was suspiciously silent as Zeus waited for Aphrodite to show herself.
A few minutes later Aphrodite had finally appeared , "I read your letter , so you want to come back to Olympus?" Said Zeus , "yes I would like that" said Aphrodite. "Why should we allow you to come back when you betrayed me" said Zeus as he raised an eyebrow and held his beard , "I beg you to forgive me lord Zeus" said Aphrodite , her hands behind her back as she slowly reached for her twin daggers , Apollo and Artemis moved silently through the shadows towards Zeus and watched from behind the trees.
Aphrodite slowly grabbed her twin daggers and held them firmly , "of course you could come back to Olympus but it's not my decision anymore , it is Athena's decision now" said Zeus. "If that is your wish lord Zeus" said Aphrodite as she smiled innocently , suddenly Aphrodite moved like lightning and leapt towards Zeus and thrust her twin daggers towards him , "NO!!" shouted Apollo and Artemis as they jumped out of the shadows , Apollo tackled Zeus to the ground to protect him as Artemis leapt towards Aphrodite.
Artemis grabbed Aphrodite's wrists and squeezed tight making her drop her daggers , moments later Artemis slapped Aphrodite hard "ahh" screamed Aphrodite. "You will regret that" said Aphrodite as she leapt towards Artemis , Aphrodite and Artemis grappled each other and then fell into the mud , meanwhile Apollo and Zeus watched and smiled as Artemis and Aphrodite wrestled in the mud , Aphrodite and Artemis ripped each others dresses as mud splashed across their soft olive coloured skin.
Suddenly Athena and Odysseus appeared beside Apollo and Zeus , Athena rolled her eyes and said "what are you doing just standing there" , Aphrodite and Artemis were covered in mud as they continued to fight. "Enough of this!" Shouted Odysseus as he grabbed Artemis's arm and moved her away , "you cannot be trusted" said Zeus as he looked at Aphrodite , "Athena , punish her" said Zeus , Athena walked towards Aphrodite and drew her sword and swung it through the air and cut Aphrodite's face , "that will turn into a scar as a reminder for your treason" said Athena.
Aphrodite looked at her reflection in a puddle beside her and screamed "ahhh my beautiful face..." , "I hereby banish you to the underworld , you will stay there with Hades until you learn your lesson" said Athena. Moments later Athena used her powers and transported Aphrodite to the underworld , "now the war is over" said Odysseus , "yes it is over now , we have lost to many of our friends" said Athena , moments later Athena transported Odysseus , Apollo , Artemis , Zeus and herself back to Mount Olympus.
Meanwhile in the underworld Hades and Aphrodite sat in the throne room and thought about what they had done and remembered the fallen god's and goddess's...their friends... and also their family. Aphrodite sat on Hades lap and held him close as tears slowly ran down her cheeks , back at Mount Olympus Athena and Hercules allies had rested and began watching over the citizens of Greece once again and playing their games with one another as the sun shone brightly over the lands.
