Hello and good evening Ms. . A very thought provocative post. But as @GRIMMUH mentioned. The cages we have built are self made and also as you correctly said one is trapped by society , by traditions , by customs , by relationships , by rules and yes sometimes due to our own minds. I am not saying that customs , rules or traditions are bad , they are needed so that there is no sort of anarchy in life. That being said one needs to understand the reason behind entrapment so as to set themselves free. Also now with the advent of AI , I do hope and pray to lord almighty that we don't become slaves to the machines. Amen!!!!

Thank you for your thoughts… as you mentioned “understanding the cause of our entrapment” is crucial. I’ve got a broader perspective…Just adding a new layer of thought, expanding both our perspectives. Here the idea of entrapment is subjective. What’s interesting is that sometimes, what feels like a cage to one person might feel like security to another. Rules and traditions can provide stability, but if followed blindly, they can limit growth and individuality. The key is to question, adapt, and consciously choose which structures serve us and which ones we need to break free from.
Your concern about AI is valid, and if we look at history, every new technology has caused fear at first. When weapons were first introduced, people probably panicked just like they do with AI today. But over time societies found ways to control and use them responsibly. AI is just another tool and it all depends on how we use it. Instead of fearing it, we should focus on keeping it under human control and use it wisely.

Your take is powerful—maybe we are the ones caged, bound by invisible walls of expectations, fears, and societal norms. True freedom isn’t just about physical movement; it’s about the mind, about breaking free from the illusions that hold us back.

For me, it also speaks about the illusion of control. Humans have built cities, ruled over nature, and yet, in many ways, we are prisoners of our own creations—our routines, our responsibilities, our need for validation. The lion, in contrast, follows its instincts, unrestricted by the chains of human complexities.

It’s a reminder to ask ourselves: Are we truly living, or just existing within a cage we didn’t even realize was built aroun us?
