Later that night...
The fog has become so thick that people could barely see ahead of them as they walked through rain soaked streets , meanwhile near the railway bridge a woman called Ruby was heading towards her sister's house. Ruby was the only person walking on the street or so she thought , a man began to follow her as the thunder rumbled amongst the dark clouds.
A few moments later the man grabbed Ruby from behind and dragged her to a dark spot beneath the railway bridge , he pushed her against the ground and cut her body several times. His knife cut through her skin like butter as he continued to cut her , he thrust his knife into her again and again and then cut her throat , blood sprayed and splattered against the bricks and cobblestones as the man continued.
The man took a saw out of his pocket and started cutting off her limbs one by one , the man sawed through her flesh and bones as he cut her arm off. He continued in a frenzy as he cut off her other arm and then her legs , blood soaked the cobblestones as the thunder rumbled louder , the man placed his saw against Ruby's neck and started to saw through it slowly.
The sound of bone against steel as he sawed through her neck bit by bit , veins and muscle ripped as he sawed through her neck faster and harder. Moments later he had sawed through her spinal cord and severed her head , the man took a quick breath of air and then took a sack out of his pocket , he picked up the severed arms , legs and head and stuffed them into his sack and sealed it.
Second's later the man stood up and quickly ran into the nearby alley and into the thick fog and shadows then vanished , the next morning screams echoed through Whitechapel as a woman and her boy discovered the body. The woman quickly covered her boys eyes and called for a policeman , within a few minutes a policeman arrived and asked the woman what had happened.
"Over there beneath the railway bridge , a body!" Said the woman as she pointed towards it. , suddenly another policeman has arrived and joined his fellow officer. The two policeman ran towards the railway bridge and then they saw it.... "Ah bloody hell!..." Said one of the policemen as he saw the Ruby's torso laying there , "I think I'm gonna be sick" said the other policeman as he placed his hand over his mouth.
A moment later he ran towards the alley and threw up as the other policeman asked the woman if he could use her telephone. Ten minutes or so later after making the telephone call the Inspector and Lucy has arrived at the crime scene , "my god...this is the most brutal murder yet" said the Inspector as he looked at the remains , "ugh that smell what is it" said Lucy.
"A combination of a dead body and I think the sewer nearby" said the Inspector as he waved his hand in front of him to try and keep the smell away. Moments later Matthew and the police sergeant walked towards them , "ah there you are sergeant call the coroner would you" said the Inspector , "yes sir right away" said the sergeant , a few minutes later the sergeant had called the coroner and rejoined the Inspector , Lucy and Matthew.
"Are you ok sergeant?...Matthew? , you both have blood on your face" Said Lucy , "yes I cut myself shaving this morning" said the sergeant , "as did I" said Matthew as they both wiped the blood off their cheeks. Several minutes later the coroner had arrived and took the body away and the Inspector , Lucy , Matthew and the sergeant all went down the street towards the pub.
A short time later after they had all arrived at the pub and sat in a quiet corner they began to talk about the recent murder's , "do you have any suspects yet Inspector?" Asked Lucy , "hmm I have one or two suspects at this time" said the Inspector , "oh that is good news" said Matthew , "maybe we can put an end to these gruesome murder's" said the sergeant.
"Let us go back to headquarters sergeant" said the Inspector as Lucy and Matthew continued to talk , moments later they said goodbye to the Inspector and the sergeant as they left the pub. "Let us go someplace else" said Lucy , a few minutes later Lucy and Matthew left the pub and walked through the streets as a little fog still lingered from the night , they walked onwards until they had arrived at the graveyard.
They walked around the graveyard and looked at all of the victim's graves and talked , "Jack The Ripper has vanished but this other murderer must be caught!" Said Lucy as she looked at the graves , "whoever killed the last few people must be clever" said Matthew , "not that clever if the police have suspects to question" said Lucy as Matthew stood beside her as he sat on the bench beside the church.
Lucy sat down beside him and they remained silent for a short while as they listened to the birds singing...
