Doctor Tremas had Serena and Lord Henry cornered with nowhere to run, "you cannot escape me, it end's here and now" said Doctor Tremas. "I have an idea but it is dangerous, do you trust me Serena?" Whispered Lord Henry, "yes sir" whispered Serena, a moment later Lord Henry took Serena's hand and led her onto the frozen lake, "get back here!" Said Doctor Tremas as he fired a shot into the air.
Lord Henry walked across the ice as carefully and as quickly as they could, Doctor Tremas followed stepped onto the ice and began to follow them. "COME HERE!" shouted Doctor Tremas as walked across the ice trying not to slip and fall, a few minutes later Doctor Tremas fired another shot at Lord Henry and Serena almost hitting them, Serena and Lord Henry stopped and stood still as the ice beneath them made cracking sounds.
"Serena do not move, I have an idea.." whispered Lord Henry as Doctor Tremas moved closer, "ah I have you now" said Doctor Tremas as he pointed his gun at them. "That is what you think!" Said Lord Henry, a moment later Lord Henry punched Doctor Tremas in the face, Doctor Tremas's gun fell from his hand and slid across the ice as he fell down, "ugh you shall pay for that" said Doctor Tremas.
Then suddenly the ice around the doctor started to crack all around him, "come on Serena let us move quickly!" Said Lord Henry as he took her hand. They moved quickly and carefully across the ice as Doctor Tremas stood up, the ice around Doctor Tremas cracked faster and then collapsed, Doctor Tremas fell into the freezing cold icy water and then scrambled to try and grab hold of the ice.
Lord Henry and Serena had made it safely onto the other side of the lake and stood on the snow covered grass and watched as Doctor Tremas sank into the freezing cold depths of the lake. "It is over now" said Lord Henry as he held Serena close and stared at the frozen lake, "I hope so..." Said Serena as she looked towards Rosewood manor in the distance.
Two day's later, December 20th, 18:37 pm...
Lord Henry had already disposed of the patchwork woman's body that Doctor Tremas had been using for his experiments, "hmm, there is still something I cannot figure out, who was that woman I met that night amongst the fog..." Wondered Lord Henry as he sat in living room beside the fireplace, "I brought you something to eat Lord Rosewood" said Serena as she entered the room.
"Ah thank you Serena, and you may call me Lord Henry from now on" said Lord Henry, "thank you sir, is there anything else I can get for you?" Asked Serena. "Yes I would like some tea please Serena" said Lord Henry as he picked a biscuit up from the plate next to him, several minutes later the smell of rose's and strawberries had reached the living room, "what is that?, hmm it is that smell again... rose's and strawberries..." Said Lord Henry.
A minute or two later Serena entered the living room and placed a tray on the table, "here you go Lord Henry there is your tea" said Serena. "Thank you, you may have the rest of the day off" said Lord Henry as he picked up the cup, Serena thanked Lord Henry and then left the living room, as Serena left the manor and headed towards the private house, Lord Henry began to drink the tea Serena had made for him.
"Ah delicious" said Lord Henry, fifteen minutes later he had finished the and left the living room, "ugh my head..." Said Lord Henry as walked through the hallway. He stumbled a little and then opened the door and went outside, he walked through the snow dragging his feet a little as he moved towards the private house, after a few minutes or so he reached out and opened the door and then went inside the private house.
After entering the private house he could hear a beautiful siren like voice singing, Lord Henry's vision still blurred as he walked slowly down the hallway towards the voice. "I know that voice, I heard it that night amongst the fog.." thought Lord Henry as he slowly stumbled down the hall towards the bathroom, moments later he peeked around the bathroom door and saw Serena bathing himself.
Steam from the hot water swirled around the room, the bubbles covered Serena's body from her shoulders downwards, Lord Henry continued to watch Serena as she bathed herself. However she knew that she was not alone and that Lord Henry was watching her, then suddenly Lord Henry realised that she had seen him looking at her, Serena lifted her hand out of the water and moved her fingers urging him to come closer.
