The militarization of schools in Brazil

As the new regime settles in, the fear of a new dictatorship being implemented in Brazil grows daily.

By accusing teachers of using communist doctrine in their classrooms and utilizing the ignorant and greedy minds of part of the population, as well as using the blinding powers of church, the new government gained support to start a teacher surveillance program in which students are allowed to film classes that think are being used to doctrine them.

As a second step to prevent communism from being taught at school (which is a lie) they're now militarizing the schools, having former values of freedom being replaced by civism, responsibility and law. The schools of the poor are losing the little they had, while the schools of the rich remain intact.

Slowly they're eliminating each and every opportunity of growth the poor had to get a better life. By militarizing schools and removing any form of logical thinking and questioning, they're aiming to slowly create a population that obeys quietly.

All of those are signs that pretty soon, if nothing's done to stop it, Brazil will fall into another military regime in which many died and were tortured for being and thinking differently than what the government dictated to be right.
