the grand aunt of the senior Queen (on the left) to take vaccination
shots in public so people wouldn't have apprehensions or doubts
(possibly about revealing parts of their body to a doctor.)
She was particularly interested in spreading awareness since she had
lost her husband to smallpox. The Queen on the right in the portrait points
to her upper arm; she had announced her readiness to be vaccinated in July 1806.
