The Atlantean
Epic Legend
The wind blew and the rain fell across the city of Athens as the darkness of the eclipse blocked out the light , the beautiful goddess of war Athena and her assassin Odysseus stood atop a hill by the coast. Athena and Odysseus stood there as the thunder boomed and the lightning flashed amongst the clouds , moments later they walked down the hill and through the streets of Athens , the streets were lit up by the orange glow from torches that stood on each side streets.
Suddenly the city's guard's rushed past them on their horse's as they chased after some thieve's , "do you have everything you need?" asked Athena as she looked at Odysseus. He nodded and said "yes I have everything" , moments later Athena and Odysseus left the city of Athens behind and began their adventure , the walked through the olive tree orchards and passed the fields as they travelled northwest , the rain continued to fall as the thunder and lightning stopped.
"Let us go to the forest" said Athena as she pointed ahead of her , "yes my love , we may have to make camp if the weather doesn't calm down" said Odysseus. Athena and Odysseus walked onwards until they reached the forest , light began to emerge as the eclipse started to fade away , "some light at last , now we can see what lies ahead" said Odysseus as Athena and himself walked into the forest , they walked through the forest as a little sunlight shone between the densely packed tree leaves.
"Shh don't make a sound" said Odysseus as he heard a noise coming from the shadows ahead of them , Odysseus drew his twin swords as Athena reached for her spear. Suddenly a large beast jumped out of the darkness , in front of them stood a large fire breathing bull , small flames burst out of it's nostrils as it brushed it's hooves against the ground , "are you ready?" asked Athena , Odysseus nodded and said "let us take this beast down!" as they prepared for a fight.
