The next day....
Zero , Echo and their crew were travelling through Omega system when suddenly the alarms went off , "EMERGENCY , RED ALERT , SOLAR FLARE DETECTED" said the computer. "Damn it get us outta here now" said Zero , Xena steered the ship away from the incoming solar flare as fast as she could , "the solar flare is moving to fast" said Xena , "raise the shields now!" Said Echo , Commander Axis raised the shields as fast as he could , the shields had activated just in time.
The solar flare collided against the ship's shield causing minimal damage to them , "that was to close" said Echo as she ran her fingers through her hair and sighed in relief. A few moments later they were contacted by Emperor Azran , "Admiral Zero...do you read me...Neridia is under attack , we need your assistance immediately" said Emperor Azran , "Xena set course for Neridia and activate slipstream" ordered Zero , a few moments later Xena plotted a course to Neridia and activated the slipstream drive.
A moment later the ship opened a tear in space and entered hyperspace , the ship flew impossibly fast as the slipstream drive drew more power from the hypercore. Twenty minutes later the ship tore through hyperspace and entered regular space , they had arrived at Neridia to see a full scale orbital invasion , "raise the shield's now and power up the weapons" said Zero as they headed towards the battlefield , "ok crew brace yourselves for a fight' said Echo.
Xena flew the ship into the heart of the orbital battlefield , Zero opened fire on the enemy's ships unleashing a hail of antiproton laser blasts as Echo fired the neutronic torpedoes. The laser blasts and torpedoes smashed against the enemy ships , the enemy ships shields weakened as Zero and Echo unleashed hell on them , "for the empire!!" Shouted Zero as Xena flew the ship around the orbital battlefield at high speed as explosions filled the area..
