  • Responsibility.
  • Acceptance.
  • Vision.
  • Care.
  • Consequences.

Responsibility is having to do everything without anyone having to tell you to do it, do what you are supposed to do, either towards your family, your studies, your house, yourself, etc…

Acceptance is the ability to move on after certain events, part of adulthood is accepting reality and moving forward, whether it is a breakup, getting fired or death of a loved one.

When you are young, you don't have detailed vision of how things are likely to turn out, but once you are an adult, you start seeing the consequences of your decisions even before you make them, you get an idea on how things are likely to turn out. Making a career chocie, getting married, moving to a different state, you get a sense of what to expect and all the different possiblities.

Caring for those who are important and close to you, regardless of how, takig care of your partner or children, or possibly your parents. Your best friends maybe. It all depends on you, but once you are an adult, you must take care of those who mean something to you, because now you are an adult, and you can.

Consequences. You must face the consequences of your actions and decisions, good or bad, major or minor, long term or short term. You have to man up and start paying for your actions. No more Mommy and Daddy to tell you what's right and what's wrong, no more time outs, no more go to your room, no more “it will be fine”. Once you become an adult, every action counts, and you will be the only one responsible for them.

So basically adulthood is when we starts to live in reality instead of being in imagination!! Reality hits harder
