One More Stupid thing

Recalling my memories... I remember one more stupid thing.

Back in my school days, I usually liked to have my breakfast as milk with Boost and tea biscuits, or bread and tea, or tea with murukulu snacks. I loved eating tiffins, but I didn’t like waking up early in the morning, especially at 7 o’clock. I had to be on the bus by 7 AM, so I usually just had tea or milk with some snacks.

My father would bring groceries for the whole month at once. My sister and I had this habit of eating raw Boost powder without mixing it in milk. Whenever my mom asked who ate it, I used to blame my sister and she would get scolded or punished. :p

One day, my dad brought a new box of Boost. My mom, dad, and sister went to a function. I didn’t like attending functions, so I stayed home. I ate some egg curry and a few snacks. Then I noticed the new Boost box. I took one spoon of it. A few minutes later, I took another spoon. And again. Like that, I ended up eating almost half of the Boost box.

Then I realized I'm going to get a nice round of kickings from my mom! You know, my mom’s pinches thighs were horrible. I was so scared. I couldn’t even blame my sister this time. I started thinking of a way out.

Then I saw one powder that looked just like Boost. Without knowing what it really was, I mixed that powder into the Boost box to make it look full again. (That powder was garam masala)! I didn’t know it. To cover it up, I even threw the leftover garam masala powder outside. I thought, “Okay, if anything happens, I’ll just blame the shopkeeper.” I felt relieved.

Later, my parents and sister returned from the function. My granny:rolleyes: came with them too I never expected she will come..My mom made tea, and both mom and dad drank it. My sister went straight to bed. My grandmother had this habit of drinking milk before sleeping, so my mom made milk for her and added Boost because she knows we drink boost so my mom added boost too..

And then, chaos began.

My granny took one sip and immediately started shouting at my mom. My mom was confused. Granny called my dad, still yelling, “That’s why I say I don’t want to stay in this house! Your wife doesn’t treat me like a human. Just because you forced me, I came here. Otherwise, I would have gone back to my own home! You brought me here only to insult me by giving me garam masala milk? Would you drink this?!”

My mom also shouted only father because of granny..

That’s when I realized, damn, I mixed garam masala in the Boost. I fucked up again:hitthewall:

My dad rushed to the kitchen and checked the Boost. He got suspicious and called me, “Tell me, why did you mix garam masala in the Boost?” I was terrified, but I acted innocent and said, “I don’t know anything, daddy.”

He was already tired from the function, frustrated because of the fight between my mom and granny. He pinched my ear and demanded, “Say the truth! Why did you do it?” I kept denying it, saying, “No, no, not me!” But eventually, I got some kickings... and I had to confess.. and my granny said one I'm gonna die because of your son..

But even then, I genuinely didn’t know it was garam masala! Destiny always plays with me.
