On Parsi New year: Flavours

Tangled

Newbie
The Parsis celebrating their New Year or Navroz on August 16 this year. The word Navroz literally means ‘new day’.

Parsi cuisine is an eclectic mix of hot and sweet and spice.
'Parsis' or 'parsees' are descendants of Zoroastrians who fled Iran.
Distinct cuisine, one that proudly boasts of Gujarati, Maharashtrian, Iranian and British flavours. From their Irani roots they borrowed a flare for extravagant feasts.
