As Odysseus and Athena sailed onwards dark clouds came over them , the wind blowing faster and the waves getting fiercer as it started to rain heavily, as the thunder rumbled and lightning flashed around them Odysseus and Athena held onto the ship as it bobbed up and down on the raging waves. The ship rocked side to side as Odysseus tried to steer it through the waves then suddenly something hit the ship and water started to flood the ship , the ship started to sink under the waves then Athena's eyes glowed as she transported herself and Odysseus to Olympus the home of the gods. The gods and goddess's surrounded Odysseus and greeted him , "welcome to Olympus Odysseus , I see Athena brought you to safety" said Zeus , Odysseus spent some time talking to the gods and they gave him some gifts. A shining sword with diamonds encrusted into the golden handle , a golden shield with a reflective side on the back and a gold helmet that granted him invisibility, "thank you for the gifts" said Odysseus as , Athena prepared for their departure she walked over to Odysseus and gave him a blue cape with a golden meander design around the edges, "this cape will protect you" said Athena. With a flash of red and gold light Athena transported herself and Odysseus to Sparta , they passed through a market and bought a horse for their journey, they climbed atop the horse and rode over the hills and reached a village, suddenly a few Spartan guards appeared, "outsiders are not welcome here" said one of the guards , Athena climbed off the horse and took off her helmet, the guard looked at her in shock , "I apologise mighty Athena goddess of war , welcome to our village". They escorted Athena and Odysseus into their village and took them to a place they could rest , later that day as the moonlight shone over the village Athena and Odysseus joined in the feast the Spartan villagers had prepared for them , they drank goblets of wine and ate some meat , fruit and olives as music played. Minutes later a few Spartan warriors walked to the grassy area nearby and wrestled each other as the villagers cheered , a few hours later Odysseus and Athena went to their rooms and slept for the night, during the night Odysseus tossed and turned as his dream became darker then suddenly a voice in his head said , "beware the creature" , an image appeared in his dream and startled him and woke him up , "it was just a dream" thought and hoped Odysseus as he drank some water and went back to sleep...to be continued
