As the festival of Poseidon started Odysseus and Kassandra walked outside , the sun shone brightly as the flags moved in the wind and music filled the air , the smell of food filled the streets as Odysseus and Kassandra walked around. Some of the villagers walked to the edge of town towards the amphitheatre to watch a special play while others walked around the market and left offerings at the temple of Poseidon, Odysseus and Kassandra walked through the market and bought some food and then sat by the fountain, as they sat by the fountain they ate their food and talked about what they would do next on their adventures.
Suddenly a burst of red light flashed next to them , Athena had returned , "Athena my goddess, you're back" said Odysseus as he smiled , "I said I'd be back dear Odysseus" said Athena as she placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled, "good to see you Athena" said Kassandra. Odysseus, Athena and Kassandra decided to go to the amphitheatre and watch the play , a few hours later they walked to the centre of the town and joined the feast , Odysseus sank his teeth Into some grilled lamb as Kassandra and Athena drank some wine.
A dark figure in a long robe with the hood up walked by the table where Odysseus sat , the figure took a little bottle out of their robe and sneakily emptied the contents into Odysseus's goblet while he wasn't looking, the dark figure silently walked away and watched from a distance as Odysseus picked up his goblet and started to drink his wine , the dark figure watched from the shadows as he laughed quietly and smiled then whispered, "that's it Odysseus drink it all , soon you'll be dead" , moments later Athena, Odysseus and Kassandra stood up then Odysseus held his belly and groaned , Athena looked at him and said "what's wrong dear Odysseus" , "I don't feel well" said Odysseus.
Suddenly Odysseus fell to the ground his body shaking and cramping a little , Athena kneeled beside him wondering what was happening, Kassandra looked at him and said, "I've seen something like this before" , Kassandra picked up Odysseus's goblet and smelled it , "he's been poisoned Athena" said Kassandra.
"What!?" , Odysseus groaned in agony as he lay there on the ground slowly fading away, "who would do this" said Athena, "I have an idea who's behind this" , "ask yourself, who keeps trying to kill Odysseus" said Kassandra, Athena thought for a second and said, "Poseidon!!" , Kassandra nodded her head as Odysseus lost consciousness , the poison slowly flowed through his veins barely clinging on to life...
