As the river monster jumped towards them Odysseus and Kassandra swiftly dodged it's attack, Kassandra drew her lightning daggers from her belt and thrust them towards the monster in a frenzy and landing some small blows. Meanwhile Odysseus moved behind the monster and jumped on it's back while Kassandra distracted it , the monster tried to shake him off but failed then suddenly it grabbed Kassandra with it's large hand and started to squeeze her tight , the monster squeezed Kassandra tighter making her lose consciousness then suddenly Odysseus drew his sword and thrust it into the monsters back.
The river monster roared in pain then threw Kassandra down into the dirt , she layed there unconscious as Odysseus kept thrusting his sword into the monsters back again and again , it's green blood dripping of Odysseus's sword as he pulled it out and jumped back onto the ground. The monster turned around and started to follow Odysseus, meanwhile Kassandra regained consciousness and picked up her lightning daggers and slowly walked towards a tree and then climbed up into the branches, the monster swung it's arms around trying to hit Odysseus but it was to slow, suddenly Kassandra jumped out of the tree and landed on the monster and thrust her lightning daggers into its neck.
Kassandra jumped off the monster as Odysseus slashed his sword forward and cut the monsters leg off , he ran towards the monster then jumped into the air as he held his sword down then thrust the blade into the monsters head killing it instantly. He pulled his sword out of the monster and walked over to Kassandra and stood there for a moment to catch their breath. Suddenly Kassandra fell to her knees and passed out , Odysseus picked her up and carried her back to the village for medical assistance , Odysseus asked the man if Kassandra would recover from her injuries, "I'm not sure , we'll have to wait and see" said the man.
A few days later Kassandra regained consciousness , "how long was I out" said Kassandra , "four days, the festival of Poseidon is today" said Odysseus, Kassandra slowly stood up and held onto Odysseus as they walked outside , the villagers were decorating the town for the festival of Poseidon as the gentle breeze flowed and the smell of food was in the air. Odysseus took Kassandra back inside rested for a few hours while they waited for the festival to start...
