As Odysseus, Athena and Kassandra prepared to leave Mount Olympus Athena said , "I must stay here at Olympus dear Odysseus" , "for how long my goddess?" Said Odysseus , "it won't be for long" said Athena as she held his hand and smiled. Suddenly Zeus appeared and walked towards them "these are for you Odysseus" said Zeus as he handed him two lightning daggers , Odysseus thanked Zeus for the gift as Athena's hands glowed , "ok it's time to send you back to your ship" said Athena, they said goodbye then Athena teleported Odysseus and Kassandra back to his ship.
Odysseus and Kassandra sailed east across the sea for a while until they saw land up ahead in front of them , they anchored the ship at the harbour and climbed ashore where a woman greeted them "welcome to Amorgos , my name is Despina" she said. Despina showed them the way to the centre of town where the market was , as they walked around the market Kassandra went to one of the merchants and bought a new staff , Kassandra twirled the staff around in her hands , "a good choice of weapon" said Despina as Kassandra smiled.
"I must go and attend to the preparations for the festival of Poseidon" said Despina as she walked through the market towards her home , Odysseus and Kassandra continued to walk around the market and bought some supplies. They walked through the alleyways towards the edge of the town and saw a single strange merchant standing next to a few horses , "care to buy something" said the merchant as their hood hid their face , suddenly the merchant lifted their head up a little then smiled , Odysseus looked up and said, "Apollo what're you doing here".
"I was disguising myself as to not being noticed" , "me and the other god's of Olympus wanted to give you gifts for helping us before" said Apollo. Apollo picked up two daggers as electrical energy swirled around them , "these lightning daggers are for you Kassandra" said Apollo as he handed them to her , "thank you" said Kassandra as she swished them through the air and then placed them in her belt. "This is for you Odysseus" said Apollo as he handed Odysseus a helmet , "go ahead and try it on" said Apollo, Odysseus put in the helmet and then vanished in front of their eyes , Apollo raised an eyebrow as he ran his fingers through his hair and smiled , "where did you go?" said Kassandra, "I'm still here standing right next to you said Odysseus.
"I can't see you" said Kassandra, Odysseus took the helmet off then suddenly reappeared in front of them , "the helmet grants you the power of invisibility" said Apollo, "thank you, I'll use it wisely" said Odysseus. Suddenly Apollo had vanished back to Mount Olympus then Odysseus and Kassandra started walking out of the city , moments later they heard a sound coming from the river, the water bubbled as it turned red like blood then suddenly a monster burst out of the river and jumped towards them...
