The gorgon sisters Euryale and Stheno attacked Odysseus's crew sending them through the air and hitting the wall and floor , Odysseus kept his shield up trying to avoid their deadly gaze as he moved around the room. Euryale attacked the crew scratching their skin, her poisonous touch sending venom through a few of the crew men's veins killing them , Stheno lunged towards Odysseus as Kassandra moved through the shadows undetected, Odysseus defended himself as Stheno continued to attack him , then suddenly Kassandra jumped on her back and thrust her daggers through her flesh , "you cannot kill us we are immortal , you fool" said Stheno.
Kassandra jumped off her back and ran through the shadows to tell Athena that they needed help , meanwhile Euryale and Stheno kept attacking Odysseus and his men. A few of his men fell and looked up , "no don't look into their eyes" shouted Odysseus , but it was to late, they turned to stone in front of his very eyes , Odysseus kept defending himself as he slowly moved back towards the entrance of the room , his crew getting slaughtered one by one , "get out of there" shouted Odysseus to his men.
One of his men was able to escape and regroup with Odysseus, suddenly a few men jumped on Stheno from behind and said "go get out of here while you can" , Odysseus and his last crewman ran towards the exit and joined Athena and Kassandra outside. They slowly backed away from the temple as they heard Odysseus's men screaming as they were being killed one by one , "I need to go back in there said Odysseus" , "no you will die if you go back in there" said Athena, Odysseus's last surviving crewman walked closer to the temple and looked down the halls then suddenly Euryale lunged out from the shadows and looked into his eyes , he screamed loudly as he started turning to stone.
Athena , Odysseus and Kassandra swiftly ran through the trees as fast as they could until they reached the ship, "I think we lost them" said Kassandra with a sigh of relief , suddenly Euryale and Stheno burst out of the trees , "get on board the ship" said Athena, they all climbed on board the ship as Athena's hands glowed Athena summoned a red and gold shield around them and protected them as they sailed away from the island and towards their next destination...
