Athena, Odysseus and Ares weapons clashed against each other sending out a huge shockwave through the area , they battled as the sun shone down , the smell of burnt flesh in the air as Athena and Odysseus swiftly dodged another attack from Ares. Odysseus and Athena regrouped and whispered to each other , "I'll keep Ares distracted while you get behind him and take him down" whispered Athena, Athena walked towards Ares and then attacked him , her spear hit Ares fiery blade sending sparks and embers into the air as Odysseus slowly moved around some stones and crept up behind Ares , suddenly Ares turned around fast and said "nice try mortal" then swung his fiery sword towards Odysseus.
As Ares thrust his sword at Odysseus Athena thrust her spear through his back piercing his divine body then , Ares roared in anger then Odysseus thrust his divine sword straight through Ares gut. Blood dripped onto the rocky ground as Athena pulled her spear out of Ares back, Ares dropped his sword and fell to his knees then Odysseus pulled his sword out of Ares gut and moved back , "I cannot die I am a god" shouted Ares as his blood dripped off Odysseus's sword , suddenly a loud booming voice appeared and said "enough of this violence" a burst of white light appeared in front of them "Zeus" said Odysseus with a look of surprise on his face.
Zeus walked over to Ares and looked at his wound , "you brought this upon yourself Ares" said Zeus , Zeus used his almighty powers and healed Ares wound and helped him on his feet, "no more of this vengeance Ares or I will vanish you and take your powers away" , Ares with a frown on his face as he reluctantly nodded in agreement , a burst of red light flashed and Ares vanished back to Olympus. Odysseus and Athena thanked Zeus for saving Ares life , Zeus smiled as he raised his eyebrow and stroked his beard and said "Ares will not cause you anymore trouble" , suddenly a bolt of lightning hit the ground and Zeus had gone back to Olympus.
Odysseus and Athena stood there and looked at the remains of his crew , Athena apologised and consoled Odysseus for his loss and placed her hand on his shoulder , "let's us get back to Athens" said Athena. Suddenly with a flash of red and gold light they had reappeared back in Athens, "we should find you a new crew dear Odysseus" said Athena as they sat down on the edge of the fountain at the centre of the city, "yes I agree, we will search for recruits in the morning" said Odysseus...
