The next morning Odysseus and his crew walked back towards the beach and boarded their ship and then set sail northwest , birds flew through the air passing by Odysseus's ship as the dolphins were swimming alongside. After a couple of hours Odysseus and his crew arrived at an island, they left the ship and walked across the beach and headed towards the pine forest, suddenly there was a strange noise close by , "ok men split into groups of three and spread out and be careful" said Odysseus, his crew spread out and walked further into the pine forest as Odysseus went onwards alone.
Suddenly Odysseus heard a familiar voice behind him , he turned around and saw a woman , her long brown hair and brown eyes shimmered in the sunlight as her long white dress with gold pattern flowed in the gentle breeze , "hello Odysseus my love, I said we would meet again" ,
"Athena, looking so beautiful as always , what are you doing here Athena" said Odysseus, "I'm here to assist you on your journey" said Athena as she smiled at him and ran her fingers through her hair , "well I am glad that you could join me again my beautiful goddess" said Odysseus.
Odysseus and Athena walked through the pine forest as they talked about their previous adventures, "something dangerous awaits you and your crew in this forest" said Athena , as Odysseus was about to ask Athena about the danger a scream suddenly shattered the silence , Odysseus and Athena ran further into the pine forest and found a few crew members standing there looking at a body laying on the ground,
"What happened here" said Odysseus , "we were attacked by a creature" said one of his crewmen , Odysseus drew his sword as he surveyed the area.
Suddenly there was another silence shattering scream close by , Odysseus gathered the rest of his crew and Athena and ran ahead through the trees , a few minutes later they discovered a creature leaning over a few bodies , "what is that thing" said Odysseus as he and his men surrounded the creature and prepared to attack.
