After Ares retreated to the safety of his realm Odysseus and Poseidon battled , Odysseus's sword clanged against Poseidon's trident creating another shockwave , Athena and Hades ran towards them then suddenly Poseidon turned around and unleashed a massive torrent of water at them. Suddenly Hades eyes glowed as he created a magical shield around himself and Athena , Odysseus moved closer to Poseidon and thrust his sword, suddenly Poseidon swung his trident around and partially deflected his attack , Odysseus's sword cut Poseidon's arm , blood dripping off his sword.
Poseidon's rage grew as his eyes glowed then fired a blast of wind at Odysseus and sent him through the air and towards the wall , Athena moved faster than lightning and appeared behind Odysseus and caught him. Athena and Odysseus, Hades charged towards Poseidon and surrounded him , Poseidon grumbled then summoned a shield of water energy around him , Hades fired a blast of dark energy towards Poseidon and hit his water shield and pierced it , the dark energy wrapping itself around Poseidon keeping him trapped.
"Attack now while he's trapped" said Hades , Athena and Odysseus charged towards Poseidon holding their sword and spear , Athena thrust her spear straight through Poseidon's shoulder as Odysseus slashed his sword at Poseidon's leg cutting him , blood dripped onto the floor as Poseidon roared angrily. Suddenly a wall of blue light surrounded Poseidon, "this is not over Odysseus, I'll get justice for what you did" said Poseidon, then just like that Poseidon vanished back to his domain, "good fighting" said Hades as black smoke and fire surrounded him then he faded back to the underworld. "Athena took Odysseus's hand and they walked out of the fortress and met up with his crew.
Athena stretched out her arm as her eyes glowed then suddenly the fortress was repaired to it's former glory , Athena, Odysseus and his crew walked back down the hills and through the trees and headed to the city where they rested for the night after their battle.
