The rain began to slow down as Rose dragged Lily Grey through the streets of Trinity Hale , a few moments later they arrived at the center of the town and Rose called out to the citizens. "Lily Grey's family has been keeping a secret for many years" said Rose , a few moments later a crowd began to form around them , "tell them Lily or I shall tell them..." Said Rose as she lifted Lily up off the ground , "I cannot tell them..." Said Lily.
"Tell them...now!" Said Rose , Lily sighed and continued to talk , "the murder's that happened shortly before my ancestor Evelyn Grey disappeared , it was Evelyn's brother Edward that killed those people" said Lily. The crowd gasped as Lily kept talking , "Edward Grey was a very disturbed man" she said , "that is not all , Edward was taken to the Trinity Hale asylum after his sister Evelyn disappeared , i could not find any information about what happened to Edward , I assume he either died at the asylum or he escaped" said Rose.
The crowd looked at Lily in shock after finding out the truth behind the murder's and her ancestor Edward after all this time , suddenly the crowd became irritated , "get out of our town" , "we do not want you living here" said a couple of people in the crowd , suddenly Lily escaped from Rose's grip and ran away , "get her!" Said a woman amongst the crowd , some of the crowd chased after Lily , "stop now!" Said Rose as the crowd grabbed Lily.
Rose walked up to Lily and said "it is clear they do not want you living in Trinity Hale anymore" , Lily lifted her head as a single tear ran down her cheek. "You ruined everything...I shall kill you!" Shouted Lily , suddenly her eyes became black and she unleashed a burst of dark magic , a moment later she escaped from the crowd's grasp and leapt forward towards Rose , Lily reached into a secret pocket in her dress and pulled out a dagger she had hidden in there.
She thrust her arm forward towards Rose's chest , "NO!!" shouted Reverend Croft , suddenly Reverend Croft leaped in front of Rose to protect her , "ahhh" screamed Reverend Croft as Lily's dagger plunged into him , "Reverend Croft!" Said Rose as she held him in her arms and kneeled down , a few moments later Reverend Croft breathed his last breath and died , the crowd gasped and said"she killed the Reverend...murderer!!" , "I didn't mean to kill him" said Lily as she fell down to her knees , moments later the police had arrived and then arrested her.
A few days later...
Lily had been taken to court and tried for murder and the judge had sentenced her to death , the policeman took her to the gallows in the prison yard and a crowd began to form. They tied the rope around Lily's neck and the executioner grabbed the lever , the crowd and Rose watched as Lily said her final words "death is only the beginning..." Said Lily as she looked towards Rose , a few moments later the executioner pulled the lever.
Lily's neck broke as the noose pulled it hard and tight , Rose sat there and watched Lily's lifeless body swing as she dangled there , "hmm I wonder what Lily meant when she said death is only the beginning" thought Rose. A week later... Rose was at home laying down on her bed and thinking about recent events until she fell asleep , an hour later as she slept a dark figure appeared in her dream and stared at her , "I have something to tell you , meet me at Evelyn Grey's old house" Said the dark figure as It flickered and moved towards Rose.
Suddenly Rose woke up and thought "it was just a dream , or was it..." , the next evening Rose walked through the streets of Trinity Hale and passed the church. She saw the new Reverend moving into the cottage beside the church and continued to walk onwards , a few minutes later Rose had reached the founder's old houses , suddenly she heard a voice whisper in the air , "go inside Evelyn Grey's old house" whispered the voice.
Rose walked up to the house and opened the door and then went inside , a few moments later the door shut itself and the candles lit themselves. A few moments later a dark figure appeared in front of her , "you wish to know about Evelyn Grey's disappearance?" Said the dark figure , "yes I do" said Rose , "then I shall reveal the truth of what happened to Evelyn Grey that day she disappeared from Trinity Hale" said the dark figure...
