Epic Legend
As Rose walked towards the south part of town the clouds grew darker and rain began to fall , she walked faster through the streets as the rain fell faster and the wind blew stronger. After around ten minutes Rose had arrived at the abandoned Trinity Hale asylum , "let's see what I can find inside" thought Rose , she walked up to the asylum door and tried to open them , "the door is locked , there must be another way to get inside" she mumbled.
Rose walked around the building and spotted a broken window , she grabbed the frame and lifted it up and then climbed through the window into the asylum. "Hmm I should start my search in the office" thought Rose , she walked through the dusty cobwebbed filled corridors and looked around for the office , a moment later she saw a sign on the wall and read it , it said , "Warden's Office - East Wing" , Rose walked onwards towards the east side of the asylum until she reached the warden's office.
She walked into the warden's office and started looking around , she opened the desk drawer and looked for anything useful , "hmm nothing in here" said Rose. A few moments later she searched the shelves and cupboards , "ah the patient records are still here" she said as she took the records and began to read through them , "hmm not these , I need the records from the 1600's" said Rose , she continued to search the office and then found a cabinet older than the other cabinets and shelves.
She opened it and found more patient records inside , "here we go , patient records from the 1600's" thought Rose , she looked through the records one by one but still did not find what she was looking for. She found more patient records and read through them , "aha! , there it is..I knew I would find it" she thought , Rose pulled the sheet off the chair beside the desk and then sat down , she began to read the patients record that she had been searching for.
Meanwhile outside the asylum...
Lily Grey walked around the building and climbed in through the open window and walked through the dusty cobwebbed corridors , "I know you are in here" thought Lily as she searched for Rose. Lily searched the asylum room by room trying to find Rose , "she must be here somewhere" Lily mumbled as she stood there for a moment , "I must find her before she discovers my family's secret" thought Lily then she continued to walk around the asylum looking for Rose.
Back in the warden's office Rose looked at the patients record and carefully reading through it , it said...
Patient Name: Edward Grey
Date: October 31st 1642
Notes: Mr Edward Grey is a deeply disturbed man and is a danger to the community
Treatment: Isolation , ice water and bloodletting
Signed by Doctor Alfred Crane
"Hmm this record does not say who brought Edward Grey to the asylum" said Rose as she placed the record onto the desk , she sat there for a few moments and began to put the pieces together. "Hmm Sarah said Edward disappeared after his sister Evelyn did and the murder's also stopped when he disappeared" thought Rose , then suddenly Rose realised something , "it was Edward , he must have been behind those murder's , but did he kill his own sister..hmm" thought Rose.
A few moments later...
Lily Grey burst into the warden's office , "there you are , you just could not mind your own business could you" said Lily , "what happened to Evelyn?" Asked Rose. "It does not concern you" said Lily as she moved a little closer , "Edward killed Evelyn didn't he? , why?" Said Rose , "Edward found out that his sister Evelyn knew he committed those murder's" said Lily , "but how do you know that?" Asked Rose , "Evelyn confided in Sarah Croft's sister Claire , but Claire told another one of my ancestors several years after Evelyn disappeared" said Lily.
"So what happened to Evelyn? Did Edward kill her too?" Asked Rose , "I do not know but I cannot allow you to destroy my family's reputation" said Lily as she took out a dagger and moved closer towards Rose. "Do not try anything foolish Lily , I am stronger than I look" said Rose , "you must be silenced..." Said Lily as she rushed forward towards Rose holding her dagger firmly in her hand...
