Lets discuss on how these lockdowns to be handled in INDIAN CONDITIONS

1. These one day/night/three days lockdown is a kinda foolish act, we need at least a stringent 30 days lockdown and government should reach all patients and sanitize the whole contaminated places.

2. There should be a disaster management team formed and they should be now active in ground who will take all needs to the poor and needy ppl.

3. Vulnerable ppl should be identified and shoul be taken to proper high quarantine section and should be provided all necessities till the pandemic is over

4. All funds should be diverted to take care the current situation (i see new infrastructure works are awarded now)

5. Highly dense populated areas should be now made low dense and half of the population should be given shelter in other places.

put on your ideas and thought which will give us more responsibility as a social being....

Government not gonna control it as tgey dont want to control it rather tgey want more cases
Too much corruption going on in name of covid 19
 
No need to blame government or parties, lets just discuss as wat we would have done if we were that government :)

We in mumbai facing a lot so we gonna blame state n central government as we hav elected them
Lots n lots of problems we r facing day by day
And damn they dont care

not just in mumbai beryl all tehir ideas and techniques failed around India so nothings gonna change even if we blame them.... yes they are to be blamed...but here in this thread we will discuss wat will we be doing if we sit in their chair....
 
First thing is to stop black market.... Before corona we used to get a surgical mask for 2 rupees and now we are buying it for 20 in medical shops... Even they are hiding stock of new medicines and selling them for 3 to 5 times more.... What about some hospitals there is no treatment for corona but still charging 8k per day.. Many are taking advantage of the situation and cashing it... This should be stopped
 
Hunkkk u r right thats one concern, when the demand is high price gets hiked....government should start making these masks, sanitizers and ventilators so that even the last citizen gets it at the reasonable equal cost....

The prices are not hiked... U can get them online for 2 rupees a mask in amazon... When u go to medical shop and ask for corona medicine they say out of stock but if u can pay 3 times the cost... Then they will bring them and give u... That is what happening

We will have to talk about the last poor family too, who dont even have a smart phone to access all these amazon and online purchase stuffs
 
We have enough supplies to meet the demand... But due to greediness of some people many of suffering... And coming to poor people Andhra Pradesh is the first state in India to join corona under arogya sri and provide free treatment to them... Even though lack of awareness in people creating problems.... And the main thing here is asymptomatic people.. No one can do any thing in this case.... They are not affected but still they can spread it

Satzy let's first ask ourselves what we do.. Tiny frogs make the mighty ocean. With pandemic in full flow ppl still don't stick to basics of what doctors tell us to do.
1.wear masks... Even now I see a lot of ppl not wearing a mask or it is worn incorrectly the best thing it's pulled on their chin
2. Social distancing... How many actually follow it? There is a never ending rush at all alcohol shops, markets etc with zero social distancing
3. Washing yourself/ hands. In a survey conducted 35% said they carry sanitizets n hv them at home..
The basic steps if as citizens we can't do then why plane others?

We in India have a lot more population than any other ... Yet our health system is working hard ... The recuperation period as well as percentage are high in number than other countries...
So if people do what they have to do... Things will be better...
Ofcourse corruption and black markets exist but any change has to start from one.... So it's the society n people that have to change...

Ps. It's my point of view over covid.. idk about political views

Rightly said the change has to come from within oneself by everyone, once that change comes then we can blame government and others. Public should be more disciplined.

Will tell my experience what I have seen around me
  • 1st not all common man can afford the hospital bills.
  • Per day cost of oxygen is 15,000 min
  • No beds available.
  • Corona is way more costly than a cancer treatment
  • I see ppl selling der properties, reason banks r not processing other transactions (fds) apart from deposit n withdrawal with a limit (am the one who unable to take out my fd from a centralised bank sbi).
  • No maintenance of social distance
  • No doubt doctors r working hard but hospitals looting ppl.
